Virat Kohli RCB IPL 2026: King Arrives in Bengaluru to Join Camp

Virat Kohli Hits Bengaluru to Join RCB Camp for IPL 2026, Ready to Make More History!

Oh, my god, guys! The best news for all RCB fans is here. The one and only Virat Kohli has finally come back to Bengaluru to join the RCB camp for IPL 2026. It was like a movie scene! On the road, at a traffic signal, suddenly the number 18 was flashing everywhere. That is his jersey number only! And fans, oh my god, they went totally crazy. They were running behind his car just to get one selfie with the King. It was so amazing to see all the videos online. He is not just a player; he is an emotion for Bengaluru, seriously!

Reigning Champions: Can RCB Do the Double Double?

You know what the coolest thing is? Right now, RCB is the real king and queen of cricket! The women’s team is holding the WPL trophy, and the men’s team is the IPL 2026 champions after winning last year. They are the first team ever to have both trophies at the same time. It is like a golden period for RCB. And now, the men’s team will start their campaign to defend the title against Sunrisers Hyderabad at our very own M Chinnaswamy Stadium on March 28. The stadium is going to be so loud, I can’t even imagine it!

Virat Kohli IPL Records: So Many Milestones in Sight for 2026!

Virat is not just here to play; he is here to break everything! He is already the highest run-scorer in IPL history with 8,661 runs. But this time, he wants more. Can you believe he is only 339 runs away from being the first player ever to score 9000 runs in IPL? That is like a sure-shot thing, he will do it in the first few matches only, I think.

And wait, there is more! If you count all his T20 matches for RCB (including the old Champions League), he has 9,085 runs. So if he has a really, really good season, he might even touch 10,000 runs for just one team! That has never happened before in T20 cricket. Last year, he scored 657 runs with eight fifties, so his form is looking scarily good. He is also very close to joining the 14,000-run club in all T20 cricket with legends like Chris Gayle and David Warner. He needs some runs for that, too. Basically, watch out, bowlers, King Kohli is hungry!

Bhuvi is Back! The Swing King Joins the Army

It’s not just about batting yaar. Our bowling attack just got a huge, huge boost. The ‘Swing King’ Bhuvneshwar Kumar also joined the camp. RCB posted on X that he is home now and the ‘veteran is back to shoulder responsibilities’. He is literally just 2 wickets away from getting 200 wickets in the IPL. If he does that, he will be the first fast bowler to do it, and only the second bowler ever after Yuzi Chahal. Last year he took 17 wickets for us, so imagine what he will do this time with more experience. He is so calm, but his bowling is so impactful!

Devdutt Padikkal: The Star Boy is on Fire!

Oh, and we also saw Devdutt Padikkal at the camp. He is looking so fit and ready. He calls it “coming back to control the game”. And honestly, he is on a rampage in domestic cricket. In the Ranji Trophy, he scored a double century (232 runs!), and in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he was the second-highest run-getter with 725 runs at an average of 90! His strike rate in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was also 167. Experts like Abhinav Mukund and Anil Kumble are even saying that RCB should start with Padikkal at number 3 because he is in such amazing touch. He was injured last year, but now he is back to smashing everyone.

RCB IPL 2026 Squad: Who Else is Ready to Play?

The full squad is looking so strong this year. We have our captain Rajat Patidar, and big hitters like Phil Salt, Tim David, and new buy Venkatesh Iyer. Some people think Venkatesh might not play from the start because Padikkal is too good, but he is a great guy to have on the bench. With Josh Hazlewood also in the pace attack with Bhuvi, we have all boxes ticked. The only problem is we have to be careful with injuries, but if everyone is fit, we are lifting that trophy again for sure!

So get ready, Bengaluru, the season is starting, and the passion is already at 100 percent. Ee Sala Cup Namde? No, no, Ee Sala Cup Namdu! (This time the cup is ours!) because we have to keep it!
